This is our traditional apples-only field trip with a lesson on seasons in the orchard, pollination, pest control, water-use and harvest, followed by a wagon ride to the orchard for apple picking. Each participant will take home ¼ peck of apples. Picnic tables in our shaded orchard are available for your picnic lunch. Please allow 1 hour for the field trip and 30 minutes to 1 hour for lunch, restroom needs and shopping. Apple Annie’s Attic Gift Shop, Country Bakery and Fudge Kitchen are open during field trips. The cost is $6/STUDENT OR CHAPERONE; TEACHERS AND PAID SCHOOL STAFF ARE FREE.

The APPLE FIELD TRIP takes place at Apple Annie’s ORCHARD location. A printable map is available on our website at www.appleannies.com.

Minimum group size for any 10:00 AM group is 40 paid participants; all other time slots have a minimum of 15 paid participants.

LUNCH SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM groups eat lunch after their field trip; 11:30 AM groups each lunch prior to their field trip. Please bring your own sack lunches.

RECOMMENDATION FOR GROUPS TRAVELING IN CARS: Multiple cars coming from one school or group tend to arrive over a long period of time. If you will be utilizing several cars/drivers instead of a school bus, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you select the 11:30 AM time slot to allow time for all of your drivers to arrive before your reserved time. Groups arriving late risk missing part of their tour.

Please include all teachers, staff, students and approximate number of parents, chaperones and siblings in your count.
