Fermentation Workshop with Small Batch Kitchens

Ever wanted to make a batch of homemade kosher-style dill pickles? Curious about fermenting foods and not sure where to start?

Join Sheila Rhodes, Owner of Small Batch Kitchen, for a hands-on fermented pickle making class.

We will go through the entire process of prepping your produce for fermenting, discuss food and fermenting safety, sample finished batches of pickles, and discuss things you might see as your veggies turns to pickles.

This is a hands on class, including chopping, mixing, and packing your very own jar of (soon-to-be) pickles!

Every person will go home with a 1 quart jar of fresh packed veggies (and weight & pickle pipe) and detailed instructions on how to continue the fermenting process at home.

Additional fermenting kits will be available for purchase at the end of the class if you catch the fermenting bug.

Price:  $35.00 per person
