Farm Tour

Enjoy a farm-tastic adventure with us on this tour through scenic Delaware Valley University! This is an age-appropriate tour around the DelVal campus farms. Groups will see and learn about the various crops and animals that are raised at DelVal. Come have fun and learn all about farming. Leave with an understanding of where our food comes from. Seating is available and you are welcome to stay as long as you like to enjoy yard games, lunch, or even some ice cream on the front lawn of The Market.

Activities include:
- Wagon ride through DelVal farms.
- An interactive talk about the farm animals and crops that we see around us.

10 people minimum per tour. 1 free Adult with every 15 paid Child and Adult. Please book your tour with the total number of people attending in your group. Free adults will be accounted for at the Market prior to payment.

-Pick Your Own: Take a wagon ride to hand pick strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, peaches or apples. The timing of PYO is highly variable. We can't guarantee that PYO will be available for your group. Approximate time: 30 minutes.

-Plant A Seed: Get your hands dirty while you learn how plants grow from seeds. Each child plants two pots of flowers to take and grow at home. Approximate time: 20 minutes

-Dairy Tour: Hop on the wagon to the DelVal Dairy and get up close to the dairy cows. See where the cows are raised, milked, and fed while learning all about the dairy industry. Approximate time: 45minutes.

-Green Tour: Ride the wagon around Delaware Valley University's campus farms to see how DelVal practices eco-friendly methods. We will talk about how to leave the world a better place through clean energy, sustainable living and recycling. Approximate time: 30 minutes.
